Funding Your Professional Development

More options than you might think.

Professional development doesn't have to come out of pocket. Federal grants are available to both public and private schools — and we're happy to help you identify what might apply to your situation.

Public School Funding Sources

Title I, Part A

This federal grant provides funding to public schools with a high percentage of low-income or at-risk students to help all children meet rigorous academic standards. Schools can use funds to support programs that provide early intervention services, professional development, and character-building resources for students, staff, and families.

Title II, Part A: Supporting Effective Instruction

This federal grant helps prepare, train, and retain high-quality educators to improve student achievement. Public schools receive funds directly through their local education agency (LEA). Our professional development offerings align with allowable uses of Title II funds, helping educators build the skills needed to foster student success and a positive school climate.

Title IV, Part A: Student Support and Academic Enrichment

Public schools receive funds directly through their Local Education Agency (LEA). Our programs align with Title IV by supporting well-rounded education, safe and healthy school environments, and improved instructional practices.

IDEA Part B: Individuals with Disabilities Education Act

This federal program provides funding to ensure students with disabilities receive a free appropriate public education (FAPE) in the least restrictive environment. Our evidence-based tools and training support the development of students with disabilities while promoting inclusive, supportive learning environments for all learners.

Private School Funding Sources

Title I, Part A for Non-Public Schools

This federal grant provides additional funding to non-public schools that serve a high percentage of low-income or at-risk students. It supports programs that offer instructional services, mentoring, counseling, family engagement, and character development — helping ensure all children meet academic standards.

Title II, Part A: Supporting Effective Instruction

Private schools access Title II services through equitable support provided by the LEA. Our professional development offerings align with allowable uses of Title II funds for both sectors, helping educators build the skills needed to foster student success and a positive school climate.

Title IV, Part A: Student Support and Academic Enrichment

Private schools access services through equitable services provided by the LEA after meaningful consultation. Our programs align with Title IV by supporting well-rounded education, safe and healthy school environments, and improved instructional practices. Note: Non-public schools do not receive direct funding — they benefit from secular, neutral, and non-ideological services delivered by the LEA.

IDEA Part B: Individuals with Disabilities Education Act

Eligible non-public schools can benefit through equitable services provided by the Local Education Agency (LEA). Our evidence-based tools and training support the character-building development of students with disabilities while promoting inclusive, supportive learning environments for all learners.
